Can you make reliable liposomal glutathione at home?

Mixing glutathione with lecithin and water does not by itself establish a stable, consistently dosed liposomal product. The reviewed sources do not provide a validated household recipe. A cloudy mixture or an ultrasonic cleaning device cannot verify encapsulation, particle size or shelf life.

A liposome is a defined delivery structure

NCI describes liposomes as small particles made from fat-like substances that can carry other materials. A mixture containing lipid and glutathione may include several structures; the ingredient list alone does not demonstrate how much glutathione is actually inside suitable vesicles. [1]

Formulation quality needs measurements

A review of lipid carriers identifies particle size, size distribution and stability as important determinants of behavior and suitability. Reliable preparation requires controlling and measuring these features, rather than judging appearance or assuming a fixed blending time works. [2]

A home mixture has unresolved dose and storage questions

Without validated characterization, you cannot infer a consistent delivered amount or a dependable storage period from a generic recipe. Refrigeration or a smooth texture does not establish product stability, clinical absorption or benefit. [2]

Never turn an oral experiment into an injection

Imagine a homemade mixture is described as pharmaceutical because it contains glutathione. It must not be injected. FDA and CDC warnings explain that dietary-supplement ingredients can contain contaminants unsuitable for injection; a home process cannot provide that assurance. [3][4]
