NAD is a category label on many products

A product may contain NR, NMN, niacin or a mixture. Studies of one preparation cannot establish the heart-rhythm effects of all of them. Short trials are also poorly suited to excluding uncommon adverse effects. [1][2]

Palpitations have several possible causes

NHS guidance lists triggers such as stress, caffeine, alcohol and some medicines, as well as underlying conditions. Record when symptoms started and all exposures. A symptom following a capsule suggests a possible association, not an automatic diagnosis of its cause. [3]

Infusion reactions are not a wellness benefit

FDA has received reports of chills, shaking, vomiting and fatigue after NAD+ injections, consistent with excessive endotoxins. These reports concern injection quality; they neither prove an oral palpitations mechanism nor justify ignoring symptoms during an infusion. [4]

Know when assessment is urgent

Imagine a racing or irregular heartbeat begins after a new product. Stop the activity, seek appropriate medical advice and provide the label. Persistent palpitations or those with chest pain, shortness of breath, faintness or fainting require emergency assessment. [3][5]
