A scaffold is different from a swallowed supplement

A review of thin-endometrium repair discusses tissue-engineering biomaterials and their potential clinical applications. A locally used scaffold or delivery system has a different purpose and exposure from digested collagen peptides. Results from such research cannot be transferred to a powder sold for skin or joints. [1]

The outcome needs to match the fertility question

Endometrial thickness, tissue function, implantation and a successful pregnancy are different outcomes. A claim about one does not automatically establish the others. The inspected collagen umbrella review concerns mainly skin and musculoskeletal health, so it cannot supply a fertility regimen or prove an endometrial benefit. [2][1]

Use the measurement within specialist care

Imagine a fertility scan shows a lining that concerns the treating clinician. Discuss the cause and evidence-based options with that team. A generic collagen serving has no established ability to correct the finding, and supplement use should not delay investigation or replace prescribed treatment. No reproductive dose recommendation is supported here. [1][3]
