Is whitefish salad healthy? Sodium, fat and omega-3s

Whitefish salad can contribute fish protein and omega-3s, but its nutrition also reflects smoking, salt and mayonnaise. It is different from a plain fish fillet. Compare the actual recipe and serving size rather than judging the dish only by the word fish or an omega-3 claim.
