What is in AG1, and can it replace a meal?

AG1 combines micronutrients and other supplement ingredients. Its small energy and protein contribution makes it different from a meal replacement.

Is almond butter high in omega-6 fats?

Almond butter contains omega-6 fats, but most of the fat in almonds is monounsaturated. Omega-6 content alone does not make it an unhealthy food. Assess the serving, added ingredients and the food it replaces rather than using an omega-6-to-omega-3 ratio as the sole quality score.

Can you take berberine and fish oil together safely?

There is no universal assurance that berberine and fish oil are safe or useful together. The inspected sources do not establish a standard regimen for the pair. Consider the intended outcome, fish-oil formulation and dose, and all medicines, especially glucose-lowering or clotting-related treatment.

Bone broth versus collagen powder: food use and measured dose differ

Bone broth is a food with variable composition; collagen powder is a formulated ingredient with a stated serving. Neither is automatically better for everyone. Compare the purpose, actual nutrients and evidence instead of treating a cup of broth as a standardized supplement dose.

Is branzino healthy? Protein, omega-3s and mercury

Branzino, or European seabass, can provide protein and omega-3 fats as part of a varied diet. Its nutritional value does not make it mercury-free. Identify the species and source before applying fish advice, because European seabass, black sea bass and Chilean sea bass are not interchangeable names for the same fish.

How much omega-3 does chlorella contain?

Chlorella can contain the plant omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid, but a gram of chlorella is not a gram of omega-3. Composition varies, and chlorella powder should not be assumed equivalent to an EPA/DHA algal-oil supplement.

What to take with collagen: adequate nutrients before extra pills

Vitamin C, protein-derived amino acids and minerals including copper support normal collagen production. A varied diet can supply them. Their biological roles do not mean everyone taking collagen needs a second supplement or a high-dose combination.

What collagen sausage casings are made from

Edible collagen casings commonly come from animal hides. Check the casing type and removal directions rather than assuming every sausage covering is edible.

Cooking does not necessarily remove fish omega-3 fats

An analytical study of rainbow trout found that several cooking methods preserved measured polyunsaturated fatty-acid content, while some frying conditions changed it. The result does not support an all-or-nothing claim that cooked fish loses its omega-3s.

How to get CoQ10 from food

Meat, fish, oils, nuts and seeds provide dietary CoQ10. Food amounts are generally much smaller than supplement amounts, and no standard dietary target has been established.
